Red Light Company是一支組建于倫敦的5人樂隊,2007年的一天,主唱Richard最先在網(wǎng)上發(fā)起了一則廣告,迅速得到了Shawn(貝司手)的回復(fù)支持,于是千里迢迢從懷俄明前往倫敦,尋找剩下的成員.之后,他們跟著Editors和Kaiser Chiefs各地巡演,在2008年發(fā)表了3首單曲,并將于今年3月發(fā)行他們的首張專輯.專輯還沒發(fā)行,就已經(jīng)被HMV,NME預(yù)測為今年最有潛力的樂隊之一,同時,也被一些媒體拿他們和U2,Editors和Arcade Fire做比較,這些都足見他們的實力非同小可了.編曲有些復(fù)古,主唱的嗓音略帶滄桑感
Formed in 2007 around the talents of Richard Frenneaux (vocals/guitar), Shawn Day (bass), James Griffiths (drums), Paul Mellon (guitar), and Chris Edmonds (keyboards), the London-based indie rock outfit Red Light Company crank out emotional, arena rock-sized anthems in the vein of the Killers, Arcade Fire, and the Editors. Hailing from England, Wales, Scotland, Australia, the United States, and Japan, the globetrotting group released the singles "With Lights Out," "Meccano," and "Scheme Eugene" in 2008, with plans for a full-length in 2009.
