Casiokids are a Norwegian electro-pop group well known for its theatrical live performances who released a series of critical acclaimed singles on Moshi Moshi Records during the late 2000s. Founded in 2005 in Bergen, Norway, the group is comprised of Einar Olsson, Fredrik ?greid Vogsborg, Ketil Kinden Endresen, Kjetil Bj?reid Aab?, Matias Monsen, and Omar N'Dur. They cite influences that include New Order, Paul Simon (Graceland [1986] in particular), Fela Kuti, King Tubby, Cornelius, Gorillaz, and Liquid Liquid. Casiokids made their full-length album debut in 2006 with Fück Midi on Karisma Records. It was a series of singles on Moshi Moshi Records during the late 2000s that garnered initial critical acclaim for the group, however, particularly in the United Kingdom. The series of singles includes ""Gr?nt Lys I Alle Ledd/Togens Hule"" (2008), ""Finn Bikkjen!/Gomurmamma"" (2009), and ""Verdens St?rste Land/Fot I Hose"" (2009). Meanwhile, the group's theatrical live performances made it an international music festival favorite (e.g., by:Larm, Roskilde, CMJ, et al.).
