Allan McKinlay

Allan McKinlay is a worship leader and singer/songwriter based in Ayrshire, Scotland. Allan was born and grew up in Ayrshire's seaside town of Irvine on the south west coast of Scotland. He is married to Naomi and together they have two children Katelyn & Matthew. Having had over 10 years experience of leading worship in local church, Allan felt called in Jan 2007 to go full-time into music ministry, in which time he has travelled around leading worship & performing concerts in churches all over the UK. Allan has also led worship for annual conferences such as CLAN Gathering (New wine Scotland), Healing Rooms Scotland, Christ Church Bridlington and supported well known Christian bands such as Bluetree, Yfriday and Superhero. Allan has written many songs and independantly released a number of records over the years. Recordings released so far are – Left or Right EP (2005), Show me Your ways – album (2006), This is new – album (2008), Breakthrough worship EP (2009) and the newly released When God speaks album (2011) which features popular songs such as Dry Bones, He Reigns, Only One Alone and When God speaks. Allan is also part of Scotland's Satellite Worship Collective which is a collaborative project featuring new songs from worship writers from the Scottish Church. Satellite released their first album One Church, One Voice in 2010 and feautures Allan's song When God Speaks. .
